The main effect of anchor shackle is connection. If the wire rope buckle and the lifting lug cannot be directly connected, they can be connected by anchor shackle. Because of its great importance, it is necessary to do a safety inspection before use, and here are a few steps for the safety check of the anchor shackle.

Step one, Inspection before installation, the anchor shackle should be certified by the manufacturer's inspection certificate, otherwise the anchor shackle should be inspected for material chemical composition and necessary mechanical property tests (such as proof load test, breaking load test).

Step two, Surface inspection, through visual inspection, touch to check the surface condition of the shackle, the anchor shackle of surface in use should be smooth, no burrs, no sharp angles, and there must be no cracks, folding, overburning and other defects.

Step three, Internal defect inspection, if necessary, should be carried out with internal flaw detection inspection, mainly through the non-destructive flaw detection device to check the internal condition of the anchor shackle, there must be no internal cracks, white spots and any debris that affect the safety of use.

Step four, Safety devices, if conditions permit,  it shall be installed to prevent the hanging object from accidentally falling off.

The smooth and flat surface of the anchor shackle should be ensured, and there should be no serious defects such as cracks and overburning.
