*Scope of application.
1) This standard stipulates the classification and specifications, technical requirements, experimental methods and other general technical conditions of China's coastal and inland navigation buoys.
2) This standard applies to the design, manufacture, testing and inspection of coastal and inland navigation buoys in China.
*Classification and specification.
Classification.
1) Depending on the material used, the buoy is divided into steel buoys and non-steel buoys; Depending on the seasonal sea conditions used, buoys are divided into ordinary buoys and ice zone buoys.
2) Steel buoy refers to a buoy whose floating material is structural steel and other metal materials; Non-steel buoy refers to a buoy with non-metallic materials such as plastic and frucco, frped and other non-metallic materials on the surface of the float.
3) Ordinary buoys are mainly cylindrical buoys, and their structure is composed of top markers or lookouts, brackets, floats, tailpipes, balance irons, which can be equipped with lamps, radar reflectors, radar transponders, solar panels, label display devices, etc., and there are anchorage equipment under them.
4) The buoy in the ice area is mainly a rod buoy or a cylindrical buoy, and its structure is composed of a float, a tail pipe, and a balance iron, which can be equipped with a lamp, a radar reflector, and an anchorage device under it.
2. Specification.
1) The specifications of ordinary buoys are Φ0.6m, Φ1.2m, Φ1.5m, Φ1.8m, Φ2.4m, Φ3.0m.
