What is a bell buoy? A bell buoy is a navigational buoy fitted with a bell, usually with a material brass, the clapper of which strikes when the waves move the buoy. 

Our bell buoy is not only with a beacon light but also with a brass bell. so it will play an important role in the aids to navigation system.  our national bell buoys are useful because they do not require electricity to operate and can be heard when they are invisible, which is useful on foggy, dangerous costs. what's more, bell buoys are also quite helpful when it is raining or at night. 

the bell was rung by the rocking of the buoy when the water waves, and people would hear the bell and get the information within 3 miles, so that they can make the right decision during the navigation.
